Dear Jessica’s J-Walkers supporters,

The final results have been tallied…We are so pleased to announce that Jessica’s J-Walkers received the award for the 3rd top family team in L.A. (for the 3rd year in a row!) at the JDRF 2007 Awards Brunch held recently at Dodger Stadium. With your help, we raised over $65,000 making our 5 year fundraising total just shy of $250,000! This year we received donations from over 300 donors, the most we have ever had. In addition, 5 of our walkers raised over $1,000 each and another 2 raised over $500 each. That’s teamwork!

We also just found out that our team placed in the Top 20 nationally for JDRF, moving up from 21 last year to 18 this year. Even better, the LA walk has beaten its goal for the walk, and raised almost $2,500,000.

We could not have done it without each and every one of you and we thank you for helping to make this the best year so far for Jessica’s J-Walkers. We appreciate all of your support and hard work and we look forward to this year’s walk which will again be held at Dodger Stadium on Sunday, November 2, 2008.

Thanks again for all that you have done to help raise money to find a cure for diabetes. You will never know just how much it means to us. Please keep in touch.
